Usage （for tutors）

First, preparation

　Cafetalk lessons are possible, thanks to Skype. Click here to download it for free.

　If you do not have headphones and a microphone, please check skype goods.

Free member registration

　Next, you should register.

　You need to register, in order to be able to use Cafetalk services. The registration is free and easily done from the website. You do not need to pay any registration fee, initial fee or monthly fee.

　After you register, you can gain access from your own page. 　You can confirm your schedule, receive requests from the students, send messages, prepare coupons and introduce your own services.

Introduce your own lesson

Cafetalk allows you to introduce your own original lesson. Please, log in to your own page and click on “service registration”. There are many individual courses: for beginners, for business, Twitter talk or free conversation, preparation for TOEFL or other tests, discussions about presidents’ speeches or movies, etc. Please, feel free to register services, in which you have the strongest skills or feel most passionate to discuss with the students.

Your selling points to the students

When you introduce your services, make sure you have good selling points for your lessons. On “MyPage” you can find various ideas.

Send a message to everyone

When you send a message from here, it will come up on the students’ TOP page and it is more likely that the students will click on it. Let’s send useful information to the students, such as self-introduction, selling points, new service introduction, language information, etc.

Online status

Using this option will show your status as “online” on the students' TOP page for 30 minutes, so if there is a student, who wants to have a lesson right away, he or she can contact you.

Issue a coupon

If you use this service, you can issue a coupon only for your own lessons. It will help you to get new students and also, if you have many students and you want to raise the price, you can issue coupons to your current students, so that the student can continue with their current lesson fee. You can have many different settings, depending on the students, service, period of time, etc.

When there is a lesson request

When you receive a request from the students, you will get an email and a message. Please, log in to your own page and confirm or cancel the request. You can send a message beforehand or attach materials.

Lesson start

Please, log into Skype a little bit before the appointed time of the lesson and when the time comes, please access the student’s Skype account.

Lesson finish

When the lesson ends, you can click "lesson complete"(Students also can complete the lesson,in which case you don't need to.), you can also "evaluate and review”your student, from your Request page.
