How to pay

Currently, we make the payment to the tutors every month with “PayPal” and “Bank Transfer” (if you live in Japan). However, we will limit to only using “PayPal” to send domestic and international payments to tutors in the near future. We will give prior notice if there is any change or update. If you don't have a “PayPal” account, you can get one free from here. It's easy and useful all over the world.

When to pay

You may request payment for Lesson Fees associated with all Lesson Agreements completed one or more days before the date of request,and if the total amount owed to you is more than 1,000 Yen. Upon receiving a Payment Request the Company shall calculate the sum of outstanding Lesson Fees and transfer them to your specified bank account or equivalent financial account according to the following schedule.
For all Payment Requests made on or before the 3rd of the month, payments will be made on the following 15th. The Company shall pay for any fees required to transfer the Lesson Fees into the Tutors account. However, you shall bear the burden for any withdrawal related expenses. We will give prior notice if there is any change or update.

How much to pay

Cafetalk will pay you a minimum of 60% of the before-discount unit price charged to the student. Currently, we use a point system (1 point = 1 JPY) for lessons charged to our students. Usually, we make big discounts so that our students can purchase points for lessons at a discount rate. The discounts will be applied for those who have membership with Cafetalk's partner companies and purchase points in bulk. As you can see, as part of a campaign or a show of goodwill to tutors, Cafetalk may charge LESS than the amount specified without prior notification. That is to say, your fee will NEVER be below 60% of the unit price although it could be more in the near future. Especially for highly motivated & excellent tutors, we would like to give some type of bonus in order to reward you. We will give prior notice if there is any change or update.
