I have been writing and editing professionally for more than 30 years, mostly about computers, programming, and the Internet. My experience includes speaking at top computer industry conferences and trade shows, editing and publishing books and magazines, and freelance writing. So I can help you gain confidence, not only in learning to speak English better, but also professional presentation skills, technical English vocabulary, written English, and even current online slang!
Sharing knowledge of all kinds is very important to me. I have taught people about computers, bicycles, programming, and how to record music. I can speak or write from experience about cats, kite flying, airplane flying, magnetic levitation, photography, video production, and even the medical marijuana industry in California.
I am very interested in Japanese culture, and had the privilege of visiting Japan for an Internet World Conference in 1997. I made a number of Japanese friends, and have been talking with one of them each week in English since then, using the Internet. I like sushi, ninjas, tanuki, anime, and neko-chan :-)
